Lions

Lions are carnivores. It is the females that do all the hunting at night. The majority of their pray are antelope and zebras. They are over seen in prides with the females giving birth to one to four cubs.

They are found in
sub-Saharan Africa and Asiatic lions are found in Gir Forest of western India. Lions are also known as the king of the jungle.
